Hey guys. My name is Lori. I am from Peru and, sadly my country is having a really hard time right now. It’s the hottest summer we’ve had in decades and rain pours like never before and rivers have been rising and it’s causing flooding and mudslides in rural and urban areas of Peru, especially in the north area of the country. Thousands of houses, animals and people have been affected by this natural disasters. Our infrastructure is not prepared for this kind of weather. The saddest part, this is mostly affecting the poorest people. In the places a little more far away from the rivers, we haven’t had water for days and in some places no electricity as well, and even supermarkets have ran out of bottled water. Highways are flooded too and it’s difficult to transfer from one place to another. Clases have been also cancelled. Please, if you could donate even $1 to help people out it would mean the world.
