You know what my favorite fandom-related quirk on tumblr is? Those people who find a ship so God-awful disgusting and wrong but will happily go to a blog dedicated to said ship and start harassing them or trying to get them to stop minding their own business and see what an awful person they are.
Oh. Did I say ‘favorite quirk’? I meant ‘I wish it would die in a fire and then get flattened by a roadroller, God damn it tumblr kids why must you ruin everything with your sanctimonious masturbatory crusades’ quirk.

Ironically enough, I actually don’t like incest ships (they’re pretty high in my squick territory in fandom). But guess what I do? I blacklist and block shite I don’t want to see.
And, as for pedophilia, children on this website have watered down the term so badly that some even say that a 20 year-old telling a 17 year-old that they look good in a t-shirt is the same as sexual advances and violence towards children.
And, you know what? Even with my disfavor towards some ships, there’s this one itty-bitty detail that tumblr seems to forget.
Ahem.
IT’S FICTION! If people put as much effort into this ship-morality as they did to organizations that actually helped children and victims of sexual abuse, UNICEF would be funded for 20 years!!
