Hello! It’s us, Pom (( @pomnoichu )) and Ren, and–as some of you might now, Pom and I have been raising money and saving up for when she comes visiting me in Australia! That’s like, a really big deal to us–since flying from Europe is kindaaaaa halfway across the world. I was able to meet Pom before when I visited Europe two years ago and we’re really, really lucky to have met, after being friends for years only made possible by internet. Now she’s coming over to visit me and we can’t wait to see each other again.
She lands in the Land Down Under on July 11th, but before that, we’re hosting a sponsor us stream for a weekend to help raise funds for the trip! (It’s true–Australia ain’t cheap.) The double streams will be held on the 28th-29th of June, and here’s how you can help us: by shouting us coffees through our ko-fi page, here:
The more coffees you buy, the more grateful we’ll be–and also the more rewards you get to enjoy too, to express our appreciation! You can donate from now to the event, during it, or even after. We would be really grateful!
The event consists of us streaming drawings together for two days (a detailed schedule has been made for you in the link at the bottom). In between drawing sessions, we will be doing other activities such as watching movies, playing card games, and singing. You don’t need to donate to attend the stream–it’s an open party. However, without donors, we will be just doin’ our own thing. By donating, you pretty much determine the schedule/what we do and you’ll also be able to participate in the extra activities, such as the card games and voice chats.
We are poor artists wanting to see Australia, so any support would be much appreciated and we thank you very, very, very much for any donations! If you could donate, or even just spread the word, you’ll be helping us out tonnes!
