On July 3rd, I made the decision to confront my father about the ways he’s hurt me throughout my life, how he treated me during my coming out process, and how he treated my mental illness. I also told my mom everything that he’s been doing behind her back to turn me and my siblings against her. In response, my dad has decided to take away my access to college, my meds, and my home. (I would like to note that despite his “better get a job” statement, I actually do have a job.)
$450 would cover the expenses of an early plane out of the state and the cost of shipping my belongings to my destination. Anything extra will go toward paying for transportation, and providing security for me and my partner.
Please help me leave my home. I do not want to be dependent on this man.
