long story short, my parents found out about my social media accounts I hadn’t told them about, including Tumblr, and I have to delete all of them and convince them I’m trustworthy enough for them to continue supporting me in school bc despite my non-academic “lifestyle” never having affected my academic endeavors.
there’s no guarantee i will be able to convince them of that, but i have to try anyways because school is important to me and i don’t want to be precluded from going over something like nudes, a blog, and casual sex. otherwise i’ll have to find a way to pay for everything myself, which also comes at the risk most likely of being completely cut off from my family so :^)

update (7/17): i’m still waiting on my financial aid award letter but i only have $600 saved up rn. it would be ideal if i could double that by the end of september so I have enough at least for rent and transportation. i’m probably going to have to take out a loan which is gonna suck bc debt slavery but gotta do what you gotta do i guess.
update (7/23): dad has been passively slut shaming me all week lol. “you’re mine and I’m supposed to give you a way so no matter what you feel about it you just can’t allow people into your intimate spaces” and whatnot. still haven’t heard from financial aid, still only have $600 saved.
