I noticed something Humpty Dumpty-ish about another nursery rhyme: There was an old lady who lived in a shoe.

Most interpretations have the old lady have over 10 children at LEAST, yet nowhere in the rhyme is it said how many children exactly she had.

For all we know she could just have had 2 children and considered that to be too much for her
