Hello friends, for those who don’t know me, my name is Kira H. I’m a self-employed piano teacher, and author of the webcomic @somethingyouwant​ . About 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer – specifically Renal Cell Carcinoma of the XP-11 translocation subtype. This subtype of cancer is rare, highly aggressive, and difficult to treat. I have had my entire right kidney removed, and have just been taken off of my immunotherapy trial due to the speed and severity that my cancer had spread. I am now paying for my treatment commercially, and have also been unable to work due to the pain that my cancer causes me.

So! I have set up a YouCaring to help with medical and living costs as I move through this difficult time in my life. I have already received so much love and support from friends, family, acquaintances, and even total strangers, and I am so, so grateful for everything everyone has done for me so far.

I do believe that I will be able to beat this cancer someday, and I will keep pushing forward until I do. Thank you so much, I love you all 💕

So California is making a huge vote that could save Net Neutrality.

Call the senators at 916-823-9612. It doesn’t matter where you live! If we pressure them enough Net Neutrality could be saved! Right now the phone lines are busy, which is a good sign!

HELP! MY COMPUTER IS FREAKIN’ DYING!

Hey-a, guys! I need your attention, please! My computer is really need new motherboard and processor. I’m just get a lot of troubles with saving my arts, ‘cause some files is just getting crashed after I’m open them again. 8gb of operation memory is not enough, I have new planks with 32gb, but I can’t place them in my computer, ‘cause old motherboard is supporting DDR3 and new memory needs DDR4. And old processor is too weak for the new motherboard so he’s need to be replaced too.

I can’t save any of my arts normally – it’s just gettin’ crashed. It’s really annoy me, I can’t do anything with that and just keep making a lot of duplicates of my works. I can’t finish some arts ‘cause I’m really scared of lost them. Ugh…

I need your help, guys, it’s really shameful for me, but… I asking you about donations and commissions. Help me if you can and want to. It means a lot for me.
