Okay, so I was going about my usual business, looking at some Steven Universe fanart, looking up stuff, when I stumble upon Wikipedia.
They’re in trouble.
Guys, I know that not all of you live in the U.S., but if you do, I want you to go to Wiki right now and donate. Legit, its the first thing that should pop up on Wiki. Whatever you have left over, donate, and don’t forget: big companies have tried to buy Wikipedia, but by making small donations, people have kept it the reliable, up-to-date, FREE encyclopedia, so keep it free and keep donating.
Without wikipedia blogs like this and many others would be impossible, so please donate if you can.
If net neutrality dies we aren’t getting it back. I just hope you guys know that. This government never fixes it’s mistakes until decades later if at all, and especially under Trump, they won’t ever fix their mistakes.
The BEST thing you can do is to call your members of Congress at 202-224-3121. Call three times, because you have two senators and one House representative.
Congress has oversight over the FCC, and they have stopped their votes before. Its vital you call them now, go to their local offices now (chances are there is one right next to you), and pressure them to take action. To actually go over there and stop them. To bring up all the lies the FCC is saying about net neutrality, about how they’re ignoring the lawsuit against them. WE ONLY HAVE 6 DAYS!!.
Wait do people NOT all 100% realize this?
Any lightening or loosening to corporate regulation, any change in law that gives them more freedom to do things their way and make more money, is historically permanent. It gets treated as the new precedent and standard and therefore unfair to take away ever again.

I seriously was on Amazon last night making a public wish list and I had seen a couple of the shirts they have, so I searched Undertale and was appalled to see everything.

Hey guys. This is Star. On the left is how healthy she looked up until only a day or so ago, when she suddenly and unexpectedly took a turn for the worse. On the right is how she looks now. She can’t walk. Her throat is constricted so she can barely breathe (her meows are almost completely silent and she can’t purr), she can’t eat, and the only way she can drink is when I manually give her water with a syringe. She clenches up in pain whenever somebody touches her right side, and when she is picked up, she will arch her spine backward, stare up at the ceiling with wild eyes, and start yowling uncontrollably. She has never done any of this before.
When I took her to the vet today, the vet told me that she most likely has cancer in one of her kidneys, and that treatment for this would run somewhere around $500 (not including pain medication, which I opted for her not to give Star because she said it was possible that an anaesthetic would cause her to fall asleep and not wake back up). She also hasn’t given me an estimate for possible additional medicine and care that could be given to Star after the initial testing and care, but I feel like simply getting Star the treatment she needs immediately is the most pressing thing at the moment.
That’s why I’ve decided to open up quick discounted sketch commissions for a limited time, to try to earn enough money for Star’s treatment. Samples of my artwork can be found here and here. I just want what’s best for Star and I realize that what I usually charge for commissions is pretty steep, and I won’t be getting another paycheck from work for at least another week (if everything goes according to regular schedule), so for a limited time I’ll be offering:
Halfbody sketch: $15 $8
Fullbody sketch: $25 $12
Even if you do not want to get any artwork, please reblog this to get the signal out there! I love my kitty so much and even if I can’t save her, I at least want to try. And to the few wonderful people who asked me for commissions earlier and whose commissions I have not yet finished, if you want me to refund you the difference between what you already paid (or were going to pay) and this discounted price, I will be more than happy to do it. I absolutely do not want anyone to feel cheated.

I’ve seen Star, and I know how much she means to Han, and it kills me to find out that she’s in such pain. I know the internet is full of warm-hearted, caring animal lovers and just really wonderful people in general, so please help Star out! These commissions are inexpensive and the art is wonderful, and even if you can’t spare eight bucks, please reblog and help spread the word. The sooner Star can get her treatment, the sooner she’ll be out of this pain.
