If you know someone is closeted, do not pressure them to post selfies or come out or whatever today. use the pronouns they need to use in public for their safety.

This is the fire that displaced my husband Jeremy and I and killed a resident I knew and was on good terms with. It occurred at five thirty in the morning.
We are staying with friends and managed to rescue all of our cats in the nick of time as black smoke rolled through the air.
We have no belongings except the clothes on our backs. Not even chargers for the phones were managed to bring with us to keep in contact with the Red Cross.
Any support is appreciated. We may be without a home of our own for some time.

For those who don’t know what’s happening in the video, she untied her shoelaces, pulled one through the inside of the zip tie binding her hands, then tied the shoelaces together. Then, by pulling downward and back and forth on the shoelaces with her feet, she created enough friction to wear away part of the ziptie, making it weak enough to snap right off her hands.

I’ve set up my gofundme in regards to my teeth. I actually have a bank account now so I can properly manage it myself.
I’ve set a pretty high bar this time around, if only because my teeth have gotten REALLY goddamn bad, so I honestly don’t know how much I need to get them taken care of. The majority of the funding will be going to dental care, but I’d like to set some aside to afford the mental care I’ve needed for years.
i genuinely do not expect to make my goal, but I figure it’s better than not trying at all. I’m just really scared and tired of backing myself into a corner.
All in all, I hope that I can make the bare minimum I need to take care of the immediate culprits in my mouth and work toward full mouth reconstruction.
If you guys wouldn’t mind sharing this, it’d mean the world to me. My career pretty much depends on me having teeth in my mouth to make voice sounds so… Losing them prematurely is going to murder my chances of actually trying to do something I enjoy for a living.
