Black and brown girls are coming up missing in DC but no ones talking about it. 70,000+ and counting. This is heartbreaking.

They are ignoring them missing AND the reasons. Listen, y’all not from this area may not be aware but this has been an enormous, unreported issue for 20 years. I grew up hearing my friends across the DMV mention this. Girls from Southeast, Northeast, Anacostia, Franconia, Brookland, so many D.C. areas…gone like ghosts. My parents wanted me home immediately because “no one was snatchin’ they baby”. So, we have to be vigilant and remind ourselves why Black and brown girls are vulnerable/the authorities are often in on it.

Why is there a room of people of color asking for answers and getting none? It’s terrifying.

The fact that there is no obvious increase in missing person cases, when compared to previous years, bothers me. It seems as they are being taken until a quota is met. You feel me?

I feel you 100%.

It’s as if this has been happening for years, and this is the first time the media’s reported on it.

  • If you’re a fan of something but the fandom is problemaitc
  • If you love a series but are unable or too lazy to follow every detail of it
  • If you love a series but are sick the fuck tired of discourse
  • If you’ve had to step away from a series due to the fandom sucking ass
  • If you’re tired of seeing inappropriate fanart of underaged characters
  • If you’re tired of the creators of a series being bullied by members of a fandom
  • If you’re so late into a fandom there’s no one your age who likes it
  • If you’ve ever felt like the only person in the world who loves a series
  • If you love an abandoned series
  • If you’ve ever made an OC(original character) for a series but not include anything of the main cast/plot.
  • If you have a self insert character and you’re not ashamed of it
  • If you’re fed up with shipping being more important than story

If you think fandoms should calm the fuck down and just enjoy a series instead of feeling as though they’re entitled to it or own it
