Resets

Sometimes it’s hard to stay awake
with the thoughts all in your head;
‘will i live to see the sun,
or will i die instead?’

A pillow clutch will do no good
nor will a shaky sigh.
The darkness from your window says
‘There’s no need to cry’

But nonetheless, you find yourself
with dampened, bony cheeks
as magic tears run down your face
You haven’t cried for weeks.

It’s late, you know, and people are resting
but your gut keeps nagging you
that she’s still there, sitting by the door
possibly nervous, too.

You make up your mind, and teleport there
to the big door in the woods
You give it a knock, then your body shivers
and you hide your head in your hood.

She answers your knock, and says ‘who’s there?’
But this time there’s no joke.
You simply whimper out a soft ‘i’m scared’
And nothing more was spoke.

Seconds had passed in comforting silence
as you tried to muffle your sad sounds.
She somehow knows the pain you’re in
and stays on her grounds.

“I will stay until you feel
like you can go back home.”
You smile and through a gentle sob
you think “i’m not alone.”

…I had a dream last night that an anime was created involving a girl with like, GIGANTIC boobs, so big they weren’t even possible, and she LOVED dogs, but couldn’t pet any because every time she petted a dog her boobs grew bigger because every dog she petted had a relation to an ex boyfriend she had or something???
