💜 Soriel Week Year 2 @sorielweek Day 5: Confession 💙

I don’t have a single scenario that I think is definitely 100% how Sans or Toriel would confess, but this idea is basically the Ultimate Fluff Experience™

so it seemed the most fitting to go with! And anyone who knows of my aesthetics can probably guess why I’m biased towards this one

The short version is as their feelings gradually become romantic they keep having moments

like holding hands for a little too long or their faces being a bit too close (followed by both of them being adorably flustered), and a whole bunch of mutual pining occurs while their friends are either very, very aware of it or somehow completely oblivious (not sure which I prefer ahah). Until eventually in the middle of a group shopping trip through town on a winter evening, one of them (Toriel in this case) can’t take it anymore and is like “okay this can’t go on we need to sit down and Talk About Our Feelings”.

And for someone who’s supposed to be exceptionally good at reading expressions, Sans sure can’t seem to put the facts of his hand being held and Toriel’s blushy face together to realise he’s about to be confessed to :3c

There’ll be a small continuation of this scene in day 7 by the way, but uh. there’s gonna be a bit of a wait on that ouo;

(Alternate title: Please don’t take her Sanshine away)

I’ll be honest, I was stuck on ideas for this prompt longer than the rest and I’m not sure that what I went with even fits it that well oTL Healing someone counts as protecting them from dying, right??

There’s no particular context behind this, but I was going more with the idea that Sans hecked up his magic (being the overpowered one-hit wonder he is) rather than got attacked. He’s still having a bad day either way though.

I decided to dedicate my art for this year’s Soriel Week to the most
underapreciated and amazing of fandom arts: Fanfiction. Seven days,
seven scenes of seven stories that I utterly adore. Time to give writers
some of the apreciation they deserve.

💜 Soriel Week Year 2 @sorielweek Day 3: Hidden 💙

Everyone has things they don’t want to talk about.

I’m fond of the idea that after Sans keeps his promise to Toriel, these two trust each other so much that they’re (one of) the first people they open up to about their issues :’> But they’re clearly not quite there yet here and are still in their “I’m fine, by which I mean I haven’t been fine for years” phases.

Sans’ side of this has some glitchy effects to try to represent the fact that he doesn’t outright remember that specific event, he just knows of Flowey’s resets (and probably has nightmares about them). As for Toriel’s side, I want to be clear that Asgore’s inclusion in this is a representation of his role in Toriel’s grief, not hate art towards him. Goat dad needs love from Soriel fans ;u;

(I know I didn’t post day 1 yet but that’s because I’m going out of order this time around, I’m still planning to finish every single promp for this year)
