My loving, wonderful, amazing cat is suffering. I was unable to care for her for a few months and left her in the hands of someone I thought I could trust. Turns out, they are neglectful people who only care about them. When I finally was able to get Luca back, she was brought back to me with more than an inch of her tail cut off, a large mass on her stomach, and extremely under weight. I immediately took her to the vet to find out that if antibiotics don’t help her tail, we may have to amputate, and if the mass on her stomach is cancerous, there’s a chance it’s metastasized to her lungs. If that’s the case, there’s nothing they can do. But we do have a chance to catch it before it reaches that point, if it hasn’t already. Like anything in life, the biopsy and having it sent out are both extremely expensive as is the cost of amputation if her tail doesn’t heal. My baby doesn’t deserve this. But she does deserve to get the best care she can. She’s such a sweet, loving cat. The amount of damage this person who was supposed to care for her costs around $606, and that’s not including anesthetics and pain medication costs. I want my girl to live a long, happy life. Please, help me save my baby.

Yesterday’s news was a bit disheartening. Luca has cancer. She has to have surgery to remove the mass on her stomach. She also has tobhave her tail amputated because it’s not healing. They will be doing xrays the day of her surgery to make sure the cancer hasn’t spread to her lungs. To see my furbaby go through all this kills me. She’s such a sweet, loving little lovebug. She doesn’t deserve this. She deserves to be happy and healthy. Please keep sharing her story. She goes in for surgery in 2 weeks and we have hope that everything will go well. It’ll still be a road to recovery, but she’s already on the way. I’ve already contacted Rock County authorities and am taking the steps to press charges against the person who neglected her.
Omg this kid doesn’t deserve 20 years in prison for protecting his own mother! This is fucking ridiculous. It was definitely a defense. He’s 13 years now, just imagine how traumatized he must be after watching his mother getting sexually abused and brutally beaten by a stranger? I am sure, if the boy was white American he would be carried carefully out of the house and would be given probation. That’s how white privilege works all around the world.
This is demonstrating why you absolutely do not pour water on a grease fire.

Okaaaay. If any of you actually have a grease fire in the kitchen put the lid on the pan. It will suffocate the flames. Don’t pour water on it, and don’t freak out. Cook safely!
Or throw flour on it to smother it.

Throwing flour into a fire can cause it to combust and make the fire worse because FLOUR/SUGAR IS FLAMMABLE. One cup of flour into a grease fire can have the explosive force of dynamite.
The reason you use baking soda is that it releases carbon dioxide when heated, and CO2 is a fire suppressant.
